Tractor Replacements Pty Ltd commenced operations on 2nd July 1973 in small, rented premises in Wollongong St. Fyshwick. The partnership between Dennis Gallagher and John (Jack) McGann was an amalgamation of some twenty years combined experience in the earthmoving industry. Dennis having worked for Waugh & Josephson, the NSW Caterpillar dealer, as a parts salesman from 1964 to 1973, and Jack, in the same position, from 1966 until 1968 when he then took up the position of Purchasing Officer with Citra (Aust), a major construction company, until 1973.

As their range of products and demand for their services increased, it became evident that larger premises were needed and in late 1974 the move was made to Townsville St Fyshwick. Tractor Replacements Pty Ltd had gained a reputation for quality service and was quickly becoming the "One-Stop" earthmoving and industrial supply shop that both Dennis and Jack had anticipated.

In 1977, Tractor Replacements Pty Ltd had grown to the point where it was inevitable that another move had to be made. This time instead of renting premises, Dennis and lack purchased a block of land and built their own shop, where they are still located today, at 110 Gladstone St Fyshwick.

Business thrived because Dennis and Jack were committed to stocking only the best quality products available to ensure customer satisfaction. Brand names such as Esco, Donaldson, Wix, Duffield, Fleetguard, Proto and Ingersoll Rand to name but a few. Products which are as synonymous with quality, as Tractor Replacements Pty Ltd is with service. The customer base, which stretches from the Victorian border to Sydney and as far west as Hay, is a testament to the services and back-up provided by Tractor Replacements Ptv Ltd.

Tractor Replacements Pty Ltd commenced operations, in Penrith, on the 1st February 1996 in small, rented premises in Regentville Rd. Penrith With the same dedication to customer service and quality products the rest is yet to be written.
